Water-based Wood Paint – Partnering with Trần Đức Homes to Create the Masterpiece Novaworld Phan Thiết

Water-based Wood Coatings is a type of paint made from water-based resins. Recently, Biochem, the parent company of the Biomass brand, had the opportunity to collaborate with Trần Đức Homes. This collaboration is part of the NovaWorld Phan Thiết project, where Trần Đức Homes is also a contractor. As a result, Biomass had the chance to partner with and supply paint to Trần Đức for this project. While Trần Đức’s role is to create eye-catching wood architectural elements, Biochem’s task is to carefully protect and enhance the colors of these artistic creations.

Trần Đức Homes is one of the leading suppliers of Thermowood in Vietnam. They are also involved in the construction of many renowned projects. The most recent is the An Lâm Retreats, Ninh Van Bay, which features eye-catching and unique architecture with rustic and warm wood materials, adding to the project’s distinctiveness. The An Lâm project has been highly praised by enthusiasts for its architectural innovation and breakthrough. Previously, Trần Đức also participated in NovaWorld Phan Thiết with a vibrant and impressive debut. So why did Trần Đức choose Biomass wood paint? Let’s find out!

Weighing the Price and Quality of Water-based Wood Coatings

Initially, Trần Đức was looking for a safe and durable wood paint, particularly concerned with outdoor applications. This is because the project is a new urban area near the sea, where the coastal air is often humid and sunny, leading to increased risk of wood deterioration and color fading. Therefore, finding a high-quality, flexible, and durable wood paint was essential.

Initially, Trần Đức considered using PU coatings. However, PU paint tends to crack and yellow under harsh weather conditions, which was a significant draw back for them. They were meticulous about maintaining the paint’s color, and Novaland also had high standards regarding color durability and consistent quality.

Later, when they discovered water-based wood coatings, they were pleased to find a solution for their project. Water-based wood coating not only offers high durability and adaptability to harsh weather but also does not yellow and is safe for users. Trần Đức was particularly concerned about the health of both the applicators and the end users. Hence, Trần Đức concluded that water-based wood paint was an excellent choice for this project.

Collaboration Process

After receiving Trần Đức’s paint color requirements, Biochem created samples for their review. The requested colors focused on bright and youthful tones, as the target audience for the Novaland project includes young to middle-aged clients (ages 20 to 40). Both parties worked closely to develop the most appealing colors, which satisfied Trần Đức. Additionally, during application, Trần Đức noted that Biochem’s paint did not yellow like other brands and had a much lighter odor compared to conventional paints.
